Vision Day

Families! Can you believe the first month of the year is over? Boy, that went by crazy fast! We had a blast in hopetown with your children and we hope your children feel the same. This week your grade schooler looked at using your words wisely. Words have so much power, don’t they? Check out the passage of scripture in Ephesians 4:29-32. Your preschooler looked at the amazing story of Jesus healing the blind man in John 9:1-12.

Dive in a little deeper with your family:

Words. One word can tear down or build up someone in an instant. This week practice using kind, loving and encouraging words! Set a timer for 60 seconds and compliment someone in your family. We know it will make their day! Then pray as a family thanking God for the family and friends He has placed in your life.

How’s that memory verse coming? Were you able to memorize God’s word as a family? If not, there is still time! Check out January week 2 on the blog for more information!
