Living life on mission is the simplest way to show the love of Jesus to others. Our partnerships span from local ministries and non-profits in Durham, NC and surrounding areas to a partner church in the Dominican Republic. If you love serving others, we invite you to participate through any of our local expressions listed below.

Tutoring at Fayetteville Street Elementary

Be a part of NewHope’s tutoring program at Fayetteville Street Elementary School on Saturday mornings from 9:00-11:30am

Serve with Samaritan's Feet

Join us while we serve individuals in Durham through the gift of new shoes. Individuals will receive a pair of shoes, socks, and a Hope Tote, along with a message of hope and encouragement.

There are two volunteer shifts available. Volunteers are welcome to sign up for one shift or both.

Assist those experiencing homelessness by helping to serve a meal, distribute resources, and spend time in fellowship.

Serve alongside DRM staff and create a welcoming environment through serving meals and spending time with the men's shelter residents. The minimum serving age is 10 and minors must be accompanied by an adult.
