May: Week 2
It's SUNDAY FUNDAY and a Happy Mother's Day to all of our moms and women who hold a special place in our hearts! This week we are continuing the epic journey in the Bible where we find God's faithfulness and grace as we learn to live for Him -even when it's not easy!
Our elementary life groups took a look at a predicament that Peter and John found themselves in when they were before the Sanhedrin. Check it out in Acts chapter 3 verses 1 through chapter 4 verses 21. With a bottom line of "Keep going when it gets tough" we can remember that we can have courage and that courage comes from God. He's right there with us on this journey. Take some time for a family huddle - what are things that are hard right now for your family? Pray for each other and encourage one another - we're never too young to do so!
Our preschool life groups are continuing through the Creation Story! They learned about all sorts of things that God created: land, plants, and sea; sun, moon and stars. This week go on a scavenger hunt - see how many flowers you can spot, different types of trees and grass. There are so many varieties all for us to enjoy! Check out the list of great things in chapter 1 of Genesis verse 9-19.
