May: Week 1

Happy May NH Kids Families! We are excited to jump into the idea that God is powerful, good and faithful, amen! When we look around at what God has done for us, we see the beauty in the creation that we get to enjoy each and every day. 

Our preschool life groups dove into the first part of creation in Genesis were we looked at Light and Dark; Sky & Water. Check it out in the very first book, in the very first chapter of Genesis, verses 1:3-8. As a family, take some time to watch the sunset and look at all the beautiful colors in the sky! On a sunny, day with clouds, lay on the grass and look up at the sky - what shapes do you see in the clouds? God made all of this for us to enjoy!

Our elementary life groups started the conversation about it looks like when things don't go our way, but we can trust that God's plan is still good and HE is the one who gives us strength to get back up and do what He's called us to do! Check it out in Matthew 28:16-20, Acts 1 & 2. Our bottom line is God is always with you. What's something in your child's life that is really hard for them? Lean on our memory verse for the month, Isaiah 40:31 - when they trust in Jesus, God is right there for them!
