March: Week 2

Happy Sunday families!

We had a wonderful time with your child as we dove into God's word and learned what He has for us this week. Thank you for trusting us with your child - we don't take that lightly! Our life group leaders and kids rolled up their sleeves and got to work. Check it out!

Preschool life groups walked right into another story by looking at Matthew who was a tax collector during Jesus' time in ministry. You can find out all about this awesome story in Matthew chapter 9, verses 9-12. Matthew was minding his own business when Jesus asked Him to follow Him. What a honor to follow Jesus! Play "follow the leader" this week as a family and give your children a turn to create easy fun family memories!

Elementary life groups continued to work hard together to find the message God had for them. They took a look at Exodus 17:8-13 where we find Joshua winning the battle over the Amalekites. Feel free to quiz them on their bottom line (main take away): Work together to help someone succeed. Here's the plan - make a list of ways you each help each other - without YOU in mind. How can your family help someone else succeed? When we help others, we show them God's love and in turn, God gets the glory!
