March: Week 1

Hey NHKids Families!

This month we kick off a BRAND new series in our preschool and elementary life groups! Can you believe that it is already March? Time is flying and your child is growing so much as they learn and grow in Jesus!

Preschool life groups is all about putting on their shoes and telling everyone about Jesus. Today, they learned about Jesus calling the 12 disciples, specifically: Andrew and Peter; James and John! You can find this amazing story of obedience and how Jesus invites everyone to be with Him in the book of Matthew 4:18-22 and Luke 5:1-11. We know that Jesus wants us to follow Him - not matter what we might have done or said in the past. Take sometime this week to get moving and do a prayer walk as a family. Simply walking around the block and praying for your neighbors and friends, thanking God for the beautiful creation He made, will do wonders for your soul!

Elementary life groups this month are all about community and how we are designed to do life together. You child dove into the book of Exodus (chapters 19-39) as they learned about working together to build the Tabernacle. When we work together for Jesus - HE is glorified and those around us come to know Him! How can you work together as a family to glorify God? Maybe its tackling yard work for your neighbor or making a meal together to give to a friend who doesn't feel well. There are so many ways your family can work together to point people to Jesus!
