February: Week 2

Hey NH Kids Families! We are continuing our series this month on including everyone and being compassionate to those around you! TOMORROW is Valentine's Day - a whole day dedicated to telling those around us how much we care about them and are thankful for them! It doesn't have to be extravagant or fancy - just a simple reminder of how much you appreciate your friends and family! 

Our elementary and preschool life groups both looked at the story of the Woman at the Well in John chapter 4, verses 1-30. This was a woman who didn't have a lot of friends and was judged, but Jesus still took time to talk to her and love her. Who might be a person who doesn't have a lot of friends, but your child could be friendly around? Sometimes we don't know the entire story of someone or what they may struggle with and all that they need is a friend!

Speaking of friendship - on the eve of Valentine's Day, we want to make sure that you know that the BEST friendship your child (OR YOU!) could ever have is with Jesus. We are so thankful to stop and reflect on His love for us and how in giving HIs life, we get to receive life that is for ever and ever!
