February: Week 1
Hello families!
We had an amazing time kicking off a brand new series this month in our preschool and elementary life groups! This month we are studying some super important topics that involve being includers, having compassion and how we reflect those traits of Jesus!
Our elementary life groups looked at Jesus' mission statement and that means when we follow Jesus we care about others! Check it out in Luke 4:14-24, 28-30. Brainstorm as a family about ways you can care for others this week as a family and show God's love to those you interact and come across. It doesn't have to be extravagant, but Jesus does call us to show care to those we know and we don't know too!
Our preschool life groups partied together as they dove into the story of the Banquet Parable in Matthew 22:8-10 -everyone is invited! Sit down with your preschooler and talk about who they might invite to a party. Chances are their list contains people (and characters from fav shows!) who are different. We can be thankful that NO one is left out when it comes to being in relationship with Jesus - everyone is invited!
