November: Week 1 🍁

NH Kids it's a new month and that means new, awesome Bible stories to learn from in our preschool and elementary age groups! This week our elementary life groups looked at the idea of being thankful in all things regardless of our situations. We don't know about your family, but this is super helpful as we dive into a month of Thanksgiving! Check out Philippians 4:11-13b with your child and ask them what they learned about being content! Our preschoolers had so much fun looking at the sweet story of Ruth, Naomi and Boaz in Ruth chapters 1 and 2. They are learning that we can thank God for everything in our lives. 

To kick off the month, take time as a family to write the things you are thankful for and then pray and thank God for them over these next few weeks. It's amazing how much our attitude and focus changes when we are thankful!
