November Week 4: Happy Thanksgiving!
Hey there NewHope Families and Happy Thanksgiving! We had a great day celebrating with your kiddos. Check out what we learned about today…
Today your elementary schooler learned about putting love in action, just like Jesus did! They took a look at 1 John 3:16-18, and discussed tangible ways they can put love into action this week, through sharing, caring, and being generous! Today your Preschooler learned about King Hezekiah’s Prayer (Isaiah 37:14-21, 35; 39:1-6). Hezekiah prayed to God when he was sick and God made him better!
Throughout this month, your child has also been challenged to think of things they are thankful for. They have been encouraged to think even beyond items they have, but to thank God for how amazing HE is and for the wonderful people He has put in their life. This Thanksgiving, we encourage you to put gratitude on display. This could look like sharing something you are grateful for each day of Thanksgiving week. This could look like writing down things you are grateful for on a poster… or even on a pumpkin. Have fun sharing your attitude of gratitude:)
