July W4: Looking Towards Heaven

Hey NewHope Families, thank you for joining us on this beautiful day! Today in NH Kids we completed our series on Joy by taking a look at the end of God's story. Today your child learned about Heaven! We took a look at the vision God gave to John about what is and is not in Heaven (Revelation 21; 22:1-5). We learned how Heaven is the place where we will get to see God face to face. There will be no more pain, or crying, or death, or bad days. Your child learned how there is only one way to get to Heaven. It's not a ticket you can buy or something you can earn. The only way to Heaven is by believing in Jesus! 

We understand that this topic can raise a lot of questions about Heaven. We encourage you to take time this week in the car, at the dinner table, or out on a walk to ask your child what questions they have about Heaven. Although we don't know everything that will be there or exactly what it will look like, we know that Heaven is better than anything we can experience here on Earth.
