May Week 1: God's Word...The Bible!

Hey NewHope Families and welcome back to NH Kids! It was such a joy to be in church with your family today! Today all of our kiddos learned about the importance of hearing God’s voice and how we are able to know God’s voice through His Word…the Bible! 

Our Preschoolers learned the story of King Josiah and how he found God’s word on scrolls and obeyed what God told him to do (2 Chronicles 34). Meanwhile, our Elementary schoolers studied Psalm 119:105 which says, “Your word is like a lamp that shows me the way. It is like a light that guides me.” Throughout each classroom, all of NH Kids learned the importance of the Bible and how reading God’s Word is one way that we can all hear His voice. It is important to know what is in the Bible and to live the way that God shows us through the Bible.

Here at NewHope, we see so much importance in kids having access to God’s word, no matter what age! If your child does not have a Bible, we encourage you to consider getting them one of their own! Below We have included links to two great Bibles that we use in NH Kids. If you do not have access to a Bible, please let us know and we would be happy to assist you!
