March Week 1: The Power of Peace

Hey there NewHope families! Welcome back for another great day in NH Kids! Throughout the month of March our elementary schoolers are learning about the power of peace, while our preschoolers are learning how Jesus wants to be our Forever Friend. 

Today, our Elementary schoolers studied Romans 12:18 which states “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” They learned about the importance of taking responsibility for making peace with others. We encourage you to share a time with your child when you had to make peace, even when it was hard.

Today, our Preschoolers learned about the story of the woman at the well. She was someone who others’ looked down upon, but Jesus told her all about how He is God’s son. Jesus loves EVERYONE, meaning that we can show his love to ANYONE. As you drive along in the car this week, pray for the people you pass by, that they may experience the love of Jesus!
