October: Week 5

Hey Families! We had another great day in NH Kids! Today your preschooler learned about Miriam and how brave she was to help care for her brother, Moses (Exodus 2:4-10, 15:20-21). While our Elementary schoolers dove into Philippians 4:8 and learned about how they focus their minds on what is true.

All month long your child has been memorizing a verse from the Bible. Check out the verses below and test your child on their memory verse knowledge. If your child is still working on remembering all the words, find a fun way to memorize the verse as a family. This could look like going around the dinner table and having each person say a word from the verse. If your child has their verse memorized, pick another verse to memorize as a family!

ELEMENTARY VERSE: “Anyone who lives without blame walks safely. But anyone who takes a crooked path will get caught.” Proverbs 10:9, NIrV

PRESCHOOL VERSE: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid...for the Lord your God goes with you.” Deuteronomy 31:6, NIV
