October: Week 4

Hey There NewHope Families,

It was so great to see you today! Here is a glimpse of what your child experienced in NH Kids…

Our preschool classes continued their series on brave people in the Bible, and today, learned about Esther. Ester was brave and asked the king to save her people (Esther 2:21-8:17). Your child learned how they can be brave and stand up to help others. This week, while on the go, talk about different ways we can be brave and help others. Share about a time when someone was brave enough to help you!

Today our elementary schoolers continued their series on integrity and learned about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. These three men showed their faith in God, by standing up for what was right, even when everyone else was doing what was wrong. Because of their integrity, the king chose to believe in God! (Daniel 3). Your child learned that when they do what is right, others can see God! 

You can begin to show your child what attributes in their own life, show the love of God to others. This week, as your child starts their day, let them know something you admire about their character or faith.
