July: Week 5

Hey families and welcome back to NH Kids! We had such a fantastic day learning about the best place ever…Heaven! Your child learned Jesus’ promise in John 14:3, that Jesus is going to prepare a place for all those who believe in him, to live with him FOREVER! We talked about what things are in Heaven (God, angels, worship, joy, and celebration) and what things are not in Heaven (tears, pain, sickness, hurt, sin). 

We know that this topic can be very abstract for your children and may be hard to understand. Heaven is so far beyond what any of us are able to picture or dream in our minds. This week, we encourage you to sit down with your child to read Revelation 21:3-5 and have a conversation about Heaven. Ask your child how they feel when they think of Heaven. Are they excited, scared, confused? Remind your child who heaven is for and the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus. Talk to your child about what this relationship can look like in their own life! Our team is praying for you as you courageously engage your child in a spiritual conversation.
