July: Week 2

Hey Families, we were so glad to see you again today! Your child learned about the most amazing gift that we have ever been given…Jesus!! From the Scripture found in Ephesians 2:8-9, your child discovered how Jesus came and died to give us the free gift of salvation. It isn’t something that we can earn or work for, but it is a gift that God gave. All we have to do is receive it! 

This week, show your child an extension of this kind of love. As they wake up, share with them how proud you are of them, not for something that they have done, but for who they are. Remind them that Jesus is the one who loves us this way. Jesus went to the cross to show us forgiveness for the wrong things we had done. He now freely offers us the gift of an eternal friendship with him.
