March: Week 1

Hey Families, we are excited to start a brand new month which means, brand new things to learn in God’s Word! This month, your preschooler is learning how to spread love like confetti and love others like Jesus loves us! Today, they learned this through the story of Jesus washing his disciples feet (John 13:3-35). As Jesus shows his disciples love, he also tells them how they can love others.This week, take some time to read this story with your child and come up with ways that your family can share the love of Jesus with those around you. 

Throughout March, your elementary schooler is learning all about forgiveness. Today they heard the story of the woman who anointed Jesus’ feet (Luke 7:36-50). Although this woman had done wrong things, Jesus showed her forgiveness. The truth is we all need forgiveness from God! This week, encourage your child to ask forgiveness not only from others, but also from God, anytime they do something wrong. Remind them of the good news of how God forgives us every time.
