October: Week 3
It was another great week in NH Kids!! Today your Elementary Schooler dove into the story of Moses and learned how Moses’s mom saved his life by putting him in a basket and floating him down the river (Exodus 2:1-10). The Bible is a very exciting book! Your child learned about choosing the next right thing even when you don’t know what to do. This concept goes right along with the memory verse they have been learning all month.
Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not become tired of doing good. At the right time we will gather a crop if we don’t give up.”
This week, find time to repeat this verse as a family. You can do it in the car, walking to the bus stop, or before eating dessert! Find creative ways to help your child remember God’s Word!
Don’t worry, your preschool child has a verse that they have been learning as well. As your child continues learning about God’s big story for their life, they are diving into the story of Joseph and how God brought good things out of hard times (Genesis 37-40).
Each Sunday they continue to repeat Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord.” Ask your child to repeat this verse after you when they get up in the morning and before they go to bed at night!
