August: Week 3

Hey NH Kids!

We had a blast learning with your child and we know they did too! This week our elementary life group looked at the story The Fall of man in Genesis 3. We learned that despite sin and the bad things that we have in our life God loves us no matter what. It can be hard to understand or trust sometimes that nothing would cause God to stop loving us. As a family this week take time to ask this question: Who has loved you even, when you mess up? We know as a parent/caretaker there are many examples that you could give your child to let them know that they are loved and valued - even on the hard days - even more so by our God! Don't forget to work on the memory verse for this month 1 John 4:10 NIrV.

Our preschoolers have continued creating great things as they learned that God made all people in His image to think, create and help! Check out a few scriptures with your child: Acts 17:24; Psalm 46:1, Proverbs 2:6. As a family, what is something that you can think about, create and then help someone with it? Maybe you make a meal together and take it to a friend, neighbor or someone in need! Think about what you want to cook, create the meal or sweet treat and then bless them by following in God's word. The return will be bigger than you realize!
