June: Week 4

Happy Sunday everyone!

We are wrapping up this month's overview on kindness and that with Jesus with us, we can change the world around us! We end this month with a story from God's word in Luke 2:22-39 about a man named Simeon who had to practice patience. For YEARS Simeon was waiting on the Messiah, the King of Kings to meet him. And we find in Luke chapter 2 verses 22-39 that the day finally came! Check it out as a family - you'll be excited to read it as Simeon was to see Jesus! It's not always easy to be patient right? Choosing patience means putting your wants on hold for the time being.

Proverbs 15:18 tells us this: A hot-tempered person stirs up conflict, but the one who is patient calms a quarrel. (NIV)

This week as a family when it it's hard to be patient: "What can you do when you're feeling impatient?" When there is a plan - we begin to grow in our walk with others and our walk with Jesus too!
