June: Week 1

Hey NH Kids families!

We are beginning the summer with a great splash as we "Make Waves" and see what happens when we spread kindness. Have you thought about what it feels like when you do a random act of kindness or decide to give a compliment? It makes you feel great, right? All of June we are looking at how Jesus can use our kindness to spread God's love to EVERYONE around us! This week in Preschool and Elementary life groups we looked at the book of 1 John chapter 4 verses 9-13. With a focus that we can love others because God first loved us. Ask your family this during this week: "How can you love others like God does?" 

Maybe you sit down with your family and make a list of ways that you can be kind and show love to those around you. They don't have to be expensive or elaborate. A handwritten note or card to a neighbor wishing them a great day goes a long way. Offering to be helpful to one another in your family will go a long way as well. Looking for more ways to show love?
