We kicked off our new series, Be A Light, by exploring what it means to shine for Jesus in everyday life. In Matthew 5:16, Jesus calls us to let our light shine—not to draw attention to ourselves, but to reflect God’s goodness so others are drawn to Him. Every believer has a unique role to play in the body of Christ, and when we step into that role, we become part of something greater than ourselves. No matter your season—student, parent, or professional—God calls you to be a light.

We also introduced the SHAPE framework: Spiritual gifts, Heart (passions), Abilities, Personality, and Experiences. These elements reveal how God designed each of us to serve. Your strengths, passions, and even past pain are tools God can use. When we move from the sidelines into our God-given purpose, the church thrives and lives are transformed. Now’s the time to discover your shape, embrace your calling, and let your light shine.
